Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
An EPC is a legal requirement and is required whenever a property is built, sold or rented
The EPC contains information about the property’s energy use and costs, it also contains recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money
The certificate gives the property a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years
